Yesterday’s Cape Cod Marathon was a balmy 64-68 degrees. Back in the day, I volunteered with the Falmouth Track Club to help with this event, and was stationed at Mile 21, at the corner of School and Water Streets in Woods Hole. It was always freezing, and a couple of years there was snow and sleet. Global warming has happened fast! But yesterday was certainly nicer for the runners, maybe even a bit too warm.
