I was trying to capture a picture that would convey “really really cold outside”, and this was the best I could do, West Falmouth Harbor across from Chappy Beach frozen over. I saw mist rising from Buzzards Bay where the ocean was warmer than the air, but I couldn’t get close enough for a good picture. It was awesome to see!
Old Silver Beach
This is from Saturday. Wind almost blew me over!
Where Is It?
Who knows where this is? And how it works? Very cool (and this day, very cold also)!
Coping With Record Low Temps
So what’s the best way to cope with record cold temps? Channel summer of course, with an awesome lobster roll at Quahog Republic!
Met Carol, Barry and Doug for lunch. This was as tasty as it looks. Tomorrow’s lunch is at The Trap with my childhood BFF, Sharyn. This is how you get through New England winters – meet friends every day for lunch or dinner !
So Cold on Sunday Morning!
…but Saturday felt worse, even though the air temp was higher, because of the wind. Bundling up and hunkering down!
