This view caught my eye as I was driving by Bourne Farm last night. I had to take a quick detour to capture this perfect Falmouth moment.

Once again, Holidays at Highfield delivers an inspiring interpretation of what the holidays might be like -if you were a gifted designer, like Sandra Cavallo and Anna Holmes, the imaginative and dextrous twosome behind this year’s display. The warmth of the holiday spirit is infectious, even more so when one of the many musicians and groups are playing. The theme this year is “Through the Decades”, with vignettes from 20th century decades.
What I love is the abundance of natural material gathered from our Cape surroundings, and how it’s artfully crafted into new and different tablescapes, mantles, chandeliers – really, the entire home.

Falmouth Holidays By the Sea Parade
Wasn’t the usual brisk but sunny weather today for the annual holiday event, but the floats and trucks paraded despite the rain. And ONE intrepid band. Kudos to the MMA honor guard and band! Heroes! And to everyone else who spread good cheer despite being soaked. Thank you!
