When one works in a vacation destination, there’s usually little time to enjoy all the reasons the place is so popular. I don’t mind – I like my work, and I do still bike and swim as much as I can. But Tuesday I gave myself a little treat, and joined a photo tour of the spectacular Province Land dunes that are in the National Seashore in Provincetown. It was gorgeous, and a feast for my eyes and soul! Here’s what I saw (along with information for John Tunney, the photographer who leads the tour):
Another West Falmouth stone wall. Beautiful!

The “Big Picture”
These are pottery tiles made into a mural by Tessa of Flying Pig Pottery in Woods Hole, sold as a fundraiser years ago. The mural is the welcoming entrance to the Children’s Room at the Main Library. I loved the pies flying in the sky, donated by – of course – Pie in the Sky. Still there, as is Tessa, who continues to make beautiful mugs for WCAI’s fundraisers. Thank you, Tessa!
Know what this is, where it is, why it is, and the maker?
