The Falmouth Road Race was a gorgeous day for spectators, a little warm for runners, but not hot, not humid, not raining, and with a light breeze. As good as it gets here on race day! The runners looked great, and the spectators were as awesome as ever. This year I biked down to Elm Road, less crowded than the finish. Here’s what I saw.
Falmouth Road Race Townie Registration Opens
Daughters and sons of beautiful Falmouth, that time has come to register for The Race! For years, my duty was to take care of the little ones while their parents ran. Then, after 30 years of running, my knees were acting up, and I stopped. But 7 years later, I wanted to lose a few pounds, and started again. And figured that would be the year I’d run the race. So very fun! Every Falmouthite who can, should be a runner at least once. There’s nothing like it. (And I finished in 1 hour, 28 minutes, at 68 years old. Once a runner, always a runner!)
