Here’s where I first thought about the party house concept for this newsletter. The house is big – 5,180 s.f. (not including the lower level), with 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, and stunning ocean and Vineyard views. It has its own dock, sauna, party deck – you name it! The only caution is that there are lots of stairs. But that also affords lots of places for lots of people to be spending time without tripping over each other.

You might raise an eyebrow that a 1998 house is considered “newer”, but in Falmouth it is. This 5-bedroom, 3-bath, 3,056 sf contemporary sits on almost an acre of land. It’s part of an inexpensive private association with a deep-water dock that leads to the open ocean. It’s most unusual to have a home that’s not in the flood zone that has a dock. For this reason alone, this house should be bookmarked by any buyers who want a dock and ocean access.

Ouch! This house has been on the market 521 days, and you have read about it here before. It’s nearly new, on the water with stunning ocean and Vineyard views and a private dock. With 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, and 5,180 sf, it’s got room, comfort, condition, and location. When these sellers bought it in 2007, they paid about $400,000 less than the asking price, which was similar to the current asking price. I don’t know if there have been any recent offers, but simple logic leads to one conclusion: probably the price is just too high. I’d encourage an offer.
