Set-up day today on the lawn of the Main Library for the annual best book sale ever starting tomorrow, Thursday. This is a pilgrimage for some book lovers, some of whom make it the point of their vacay. I’m a prolific contributor, and it has happened that I’ve bought back a book I’ve donated. And then, after enjoying it again, I re-donate it.
June at The West Falmouth Library
Going into this iconic building, welcoming the community for over a century, is always a pleasure. But for a few days in June, going up the walk sheltered by this gorgeous tree in bloom, is unforgettable. Lucky us!

You know you’re a true Cape Codder when the first topic of conversation every Spring isn’t the weather, but the hours you were stuck in traffic when the annual maintenance on the bridge reduced the lanes to one in each direction. Every year it happens; every year we forget and are caught unprepared the first couple of weeks.
