Even in pelting rain, Hazel’s in Rockland doesn’t disappoint. I discovered it last year when I was at a red light, going between the Colby College Museum of Art and The Farnsworth. The bright red metal roof and cheery yellow scallop trim beckoned. This week, it was my destination when I was on my way to check out Erin French’s The Lost Kitchen in the tiny town of Freedom. Last year I got the Maine crab roll, just fresh-picked local crab, delicate and delish. This week I got the grilled salmon on brioche, again local, fresh and sure worth the trip!
