I was driving across town late Saturday afternoon, heading west, and the orange glow in front of me was magnetic. Like others out in their cars at that moment, I headed to the nearest west-facing beach as fast as I could. This is what I saw:
Really Cold Outside!
I was trying to capture a picture that would convey “really really cold outside”, and this was the best I could do, West Falmouth Harbor across from Chappy Beach frozen over. I saw mist rising from Buzzards Bay where the ocean was warmer than the air, but I couldn’t get close enough for a good picture. It was awesome to see!
Old Silver Beach
This is from Saturday. Wind almost blew me over!
Where Is It?
Who knows where this is? And how it works? Very cool (and this day, very cold also)!
My Favorite Vermont Barn
South of Middlebury, Pittsford I think. Even smells of manure. It’s the real deal.
