The new play structures at the North Falmouth Elementary School. Hats off to the parents, who have been holding events and raising funds for two years to make this happen. The kids are certainly enjoying it!
A Doggie Thanksgiving…
The turkey drippings were irresistible to my newest granddog, Shep. And he is irresistible to all of us. The turkey, perhaps the tastiest ever, was a distant second to Shep’s frolics. The chickens could have cared less. Where’s OUR dinner?
Wings Neck Wing Chairs at Coffee O, Falmouth Village
Couple of weeks ago I was at Coffee O, and sank right to the floor when I sat down in one of the chairs. I realized that my seller on Wings Neck was dismantling the house, and this might be the perfect opportunity for his chairs to have a new life. Hugh Birmingham, the owner of Coffee O, was at the store . I asked if he might be interested in some new chairs, and this is the result: Wings Neck wing chairs find a new home at Coffee Obsession!
West Falmouth Library Expansion
The West Falmouth Library addition is well underway. It’s daunting to see the hill, recently so thickly wooded, bare and steep. The new space will be a welcome expansion to this vibrant library, truly the heart of the Village.
