Happy buyers closed Friday on this lot on Cobblestone Lane in North Falmouth. In 8 months, they’ll be in their exceptional brand-new home. Congratulations, Ellen and Dave!
It’s On! The Black Dog Annual Warehouse Sale
It moved from January to March, and then was delayed a week because of the nor’easter that hammered us, but it’s finally on for tomorrow, Saturday, March 10! This is an old-time true warehouse sale, in TBD warehouse, with stuff piled on, under and around. And only fabulous Black Dog merchandise. So if you’re like me, and can’t get enough of Black Dog stuff, this is the one day you can. I’ve been known to spend upwards of $500 on t-shirts and sweatshirts for my grands and their parents, as well as leashes and bowls for my grand dog. And a thing or two for me. Patterson Brook Drive in Wareham is where it will be happening. See you there, unless I’m hidden by the mountain of things I’m buying!
March 2 Nor’easter, Falmouth, MA
Sounded like a train station all day, and looked like a movie – trees bending and whipping in the 88-93 mph gusts. Kept power until 5:30, remarkably. Now the trusty Jotel stoves are keeping the house at 71 degrees. Very grateful.
WHOI Cuba Collaboration
Last night’s presentation at the Falmouth Cinema Pub of the coral reef research collaboration between a WHOI team and Cuban colleagues was shown to a full capacity audience. The story is engaging, as the political becomes personal and professional. Kudos to world class scientists! Because they live and work here, they’re a big part of what makes Falmouth the best year-round town on Cape Cod!
Spring Tease
The 51 degree temp with peek-a-boo sun today had everyone out enjoying a breath of fresh air. I was greedy, and not only walked along the beach at Chappy, which was wicked windy, but also strolled the bike path. This barn is by Wing Pond in North Falmouth.
