We’re not just beautiful and fun, but seriously solid as well – the trifecta of great places to live, work and visit! A standing ovation to all the caring townspeople who made this happen, and continue committing time, energy, and thought every day.
Spohr Gardens in Falmouth
I thought I’d get moody daffodils in the fog this morning at Spohr Gardens, but it wasn’t as foggy as it was other places, and the daffodils weren’t as abundant. But it was peaceful and evocative, and well worth supporting this weekend during their annual Daffodil Days.
Beccles Beach, Falmouth
Today was too gorgeous to waste inside (especially because tomorrow is going to rain all day). I was showing 40 Clowes Drive, and took the buyers to see this deeded beach. Wow! For less than $800,000, you get the beach AND a fabulous home with treetop views.
The Peeps are Peeping
Spring has been mostly absent this year, but this symphony of spring peepers last night in North Falmouth was magical. Listen.
Trouble Bruin, Grandgirl and Me
Thursday afternoon my 10 year old grandgirl persuaded me to get tickets for that night’s Bruins-Maple Leaf game. I did, she excitedly made a poster, and we were setting off for TD Garden when we found out the game was in Toronto. A new family story was born- Katie and Grammy’s Great Playoff Misadventure. And I learned that it’s probably a good idea to check on facts emanating from a 10 year old, especially when they involve large amounts of money!
