Falmouth Colors: Pier 1 Imports, 2/17/15
Pier 1 in Falmouth is closing, and there are some great deals at 70% off the regular price. I got a really nice leather Parson’s chair, a good-looking tall artificial plant and some glittering tchotchkes for the grandgirls, all for $143. The energy of the hunt takes the edge off a chilly day!

Falmouth Art Center
One of my images was selected for the current lobby show, “Silhouettes”, at the Falmouth Art Center. I was at the Grand Canyon, taking pictures of the sunset and being totally frustrated. We’ve all seen far better images of the Grand Canyon sunset than what I was doing.
So I turned around and took a picture of a photographer and his tripod while he was taking (hopefully better) pictures of the sunset.
The images in this show are all varied and interesting. Drop by the Falmouth Art Center to see them, as well as the other exhibits. You’ll be transported away from the snow mountains outside the door, I promise!
